Emily Rodriguez
PT, DPT, CSCS
Emily received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from San Diego State University after earning her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach. Raised in Southern California, she grew up participating in dance and recreational sports, which sparked an early interest in the relationship between movement, strength, and long-term health.
Her clinical training included experiences in outpatient orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, neurologic care, and community wellness. Emily is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, allowing her to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance training. She has a particular interest in movement-based therapy, injury prevention, and helping active adults safely resume exercise after pain or injury.
Emily takes a collaborative approach to care. She listens closely to what each patient wants to accomplish and designs treatment around the movements and activities that matter most to that individual. Her sessions often blend mobility work, progressive strength training, and education so patients understand not only what to do, but why it will help.
In her free time, Emily enjoys strength training, dancing, traveling, and exploring local coffee shops. She also loves experimenting with new recipes and spending weekends outdoors with friends and family.
